sleeping beauty

I ususally let my little pumpkin (or stringbean!) talk and play in her crib for a bit after she wakes up in the morning before I go in to get her - she is never crying or fussing (I always thought babies were supposed to cry when they wake up so somebody would get them out of the crib?!)...Kara always is a pure delight in the morning. I heard her doing her usual morning routine yesterday and by the time I was ready to get her I found her back asleep! I am so happy to have caught these images on camera! She never naps in her crib so until now I was not able to get a good picture of her sleeping...So pure...so sweet and oh so innocent! How can you not love her?

how much can you love her?

I just love this kid to pieces... She has always made it so easy on me...breatfed like a champ from day one, slept great from day one, adapts great at any place I take her to...this list could go on and on. I am just in such disbelieve that I can't find the words to describe what's going on inside of me when I think about her, look at her and hear her! It is like a constant overflowing pot spilling and spilling without end - it does not stop and its a feeling that makes me want to cry *in a good way*! Who knew that the simple little things are all it takes to make her happy when she gives me so many big major things in return! All I have to do is show up at her crib in the morning and she gives me this huge smile in return, all I have to do is tickle her and she screams and giggles in delight, all I have to do is pick her up and she stops crying - I don't do anything major yet she repay's me with the most precious things! Her giggle, smiles and her not crying anymore are worth more then I ever thought!

On that note I will get her out of the crib, sit on the glider and cuddle my little stringbean! wouldn't be the first time that I missed her at night and got her out for a little late night snuggle!

she has learned to crawl (excuse me now when exactly did that happen? She was JUST born!!!)...
anyways I have an active little girl now that moves enough throughout the livingroom that she actually gets tired - tired enough for a nap!...(she decided a while back that nap time wasnt for her and I will not ever try to force her into doing something she doesnt want to do!)
So here she is.. napping (something I havent seen in months...my child asleep during the day)... not exactly the place I would choose for a "perfect" nap...but hey...you know what they say...NEVER wake a sleeping baby

so initially I had the video camera out to take a few clips of Kara eating her first "real" banana...

I sat down to eat lunch and place Kara under her gym...seconds later she managed to "scoot" to Gracie's favorite spot by the patio door...( she is getting way too mobile WAY to fast...)

This is the first time they interacted this way...Kara woudl not even listen to me...she was so fixiated on Gracie *lol*
